The Danielle Rice Legacy Circle

Want to take your support another step further into the future? Please consider joining The Danielle Rice Legacy Circle by designating a gift to Eastern State in your will.

Legacy gifts are essential and allow us to ensure that our shared values are passed on to future generations. With your help, we’ll continue to preserve this iconic landmark, foster dialogue about the justice system, share classroom resources with educators nationwide, and develop career pathways for justice-impacted people for decades to come.

In addition, legacy gifts don’t affect your current asset balance or cash flow. They offer simplicity (amend an already existing will), flexibility (change your gift if you wish to do so), and control (retain control of your assets should you need them in the future.)

Work with your legal, tax, and financial advisors to establish a bequest to Eastern State today. Then, contact Joel Kelly, Senior Director of Advancement, at [email protected] or (215)236-5111 x218, so we can recognize you as a member of The Danielle Rice Legacy Circle.

About Danielle Rice

The Danielle Rice Legacy Circle honors the memory of a great friend of Eastern State who served as Chair of our Board of Directors from 2014 to 2019.

Danielle is remembered nationally as a museum education visionary. She was an optimistic and enthusiastic advocate who guided Eastern State through a period of incredible growth, leading the charge for effective governance, strategic planning and a new mission. She also set a generous example when she made a gift to Eastern State in her will – one of the largest gifts we have ever received from an individual.
