Eastern State offers an organizational membership for libraries that would like to allow their patrons to “check-out” a visit to our historic site.
What You Receive
Library Museum Passes may be borrowed and used by any active patron of your library to access free daytime admission to Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site for up to six people. A self-guided audio tour, Mini Tours, art installations, award-winning exhibits, and other points of interest are all included with admission.
Restrictions
Library Museum Passes cannot be used to receive any other member benefits. Library Museum Passes are not valid for Wednesday Nights, Halloween Nights, other special events, discounts or site rentals. Admission to Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site is complimentary for children under seven years old.
How to Join
Library Museum Passes are $199. They are valid for one year after date of purchase and can be renewed annually. To secure a Library Museum Pass, please submit your information and credit card payment via the form below.
If you must pay be check, please mail your completed form and check (made payable to Eastern State Penitentiary) to Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site, Attn: Membership, 2027 Fairmount Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130.
