Members of The Danielle Rice Legacy Circle support the mission and protect the legacy of Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site, Inc. (“Eastern State”) by making a gift in their will. By designating a future gift to Eastern State, you help ensure our shared vision – preserving and interpreting this landmark, engaging visitors, and deepening the national conversation about criminal justice – is passed on to future generations.
You are eligible for membership in The Danielle Rice Legacy Circle simply by informing us you have included Eastern State in your estate planning. To do so, please contact Joel Kelly, Senior Director of Advancement at [email protected] or (215) 236-5111 x218.
Members will be recognized onsite and online and will receive periodic special updates and invitations. Supporting Eastern State in your will demonstrates your commitment to the future this historic site in a way that doesn't affect your current asset balance or cash flow. It offers simplicity (amend an already existing will), flexibility (change your gift if you wish to do so), and control (retain control of your assets should you need them in the future.)
