Join us as we kick off our annual Dr. Martin Luther King Weekend. Engage in dialogue with community members, learn about the legacy of Dr. King, and enjoy some exclusive member perks.
Grab coffee and a light breakfast before heading to the members’ priority seating area for the first reading and discussion of the weekend at 11:30 a.m. Hear excerpts from Dr. King’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail” and discuss the passages’ relevance today. Members who RSVP will each receive a book of selected writings of Dr. Martin Luther King inscribed with a personal message from Eastern State President and CEO Sally Elk.
