VERY IMPORTANT...PLEASE READ THIS PARAGRAPH: Individual tickets go on sale on September 10th. They are reserved in 1/2 hour time slots. (The first time slot each evening is 7:00 to 7:30 pm The next time slot is 7:30 to 8:00.... ) Closing times vary by night.
Check the Master Schedule for a complete list of dates and times. Please do not arrive before your time slot. We will nearly always get you in within your 1/2 hour window; however, you will not get in before your 1/2 hour window even if you arrive early. We recommend reservations for the last two weeks of the event.
Ways to Purchase Tickets:
1. At Eastern State Penitentiary
You can buy tickets here seven days a week beginning on September 10th.
Box Office Hours (Non-Show Nights): 11 am to 6 pm
Box Office Hours (Show Nights): 11 am to Event Closing
Both advanced sales and same day sales until event closing (subject to availability). The Box Office is open for walk up sales only. The box office does not accept phone orders. See options 2 and 3 below if you would like to order advanced tickets over the phone or online.
The TBTW Box Office is located directly in front the prison on Fairmount Avenue at 21st Street. The ESP Box Office accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, and there are no TicketMaster Fees.
2. Online
Beginning on September 10th you can purchase your tickets online at http://www.EasternState.org/TicketMaster using any major credit card. Please note: Advanced online sales available until 3 pm the day of show. (Same day sales after 3 pm available at the TBTW Box Office until event closing. Subject to availability). Ticketmaster service fees will apply.
3. By Phone at (215) 336-2000
Ask for "Terror Behind the Walls." Tickets agents are available seven days a week. Just choose an exact date and time from the Master Schedule before you call. All major credit cards accepted. Please note: Advanced phone sales available until 3 pm the day of show. (Same day sales after 3 pm available at the TBTW Box Office until event closing. Subject to availability). Ticketmaster service fees will apply.
4. At a Ticketmaster Outlet
Ticketmaster has hundreds of locations to purchase tickets, including most West Coast Video stores, Tower Records and Boscov's. Ask for "Terror Behind the Walls." Be sure to choose an exact date and time from the Master Schedule before you go. There are several advantages, cash sales are okay, and you will walk out of the outlet holding your tickets. Please note: Advanced outlet sales available until 3 pm the day of show. (Same day sales after 3 pm available at the TBTW Box Office until event closing. Subject to availability). Ticketmaster service fees will apply.
5. With a Group of 20 or More
Groups of 20 or more can purchase adult tickets for up to $15 off the standard admission fee on select nights when they pay in advance. Complete details can be found on our Group Sales Page.
6. As Part of a Dinner Package
Fright and a bite! Area restaurants — all wonderful and all within one block of the Penitentiary — can reserve "Terror Behind the Walls" tickets with a Dinner Package. These dinner packages are available every evening of Terror Behind the Walls. Simply make your reservations at the restaurant, and your Halloween tickets will arrive with dessert!
